I sure hope not lol. If Im asking advice its usually because i dont know the answer. Hopefully i can build up a decent looking great running machine, teach my wife to ride then buy another one for her to ride.

Im a truck driver and im away from my family all week as it is. When i am home i like to find stuff to do that i can include them in. Plus blasters are alot cheaper and more fun than a boat lol.
How much do they want for the parts bike? Usually you can get them pretty cheap.
Just make sure the parts you need are there. Its nice to have spare stators, cylinders, cdi's, coils.....just things that go bad and are a pain to get sometimes.

Yeah try and get it cheaper. The most I've ever paid for a roller was $350. If there are good parts you need, and extra's like a pipe, good tires, stuff like that, grab it.
The main thing is see if its quality, not someone's old picked through crap.
Where are you located at? Did you find it on craigslist?
yeah, found it on CL, bout an hour and a half from me. looks like it was disassembled to be rebuilt then forgot about.
I defintly wouldn't give him anywhere near $400 for it. The thing that I didn't like was it saying I don't know whats there amd whats not.
agreed, i bought a roller that needed engine work for $180. $400 is really steep for whats there and how it is.
Ok folks, just opened me a shiny new paypal account, and im ready to start ordering parts for this beast. Where to start. I did the leak test on the motor and it seems to be all good. Not to mention she got a good bath in Dawn water lol. She needs brakes, suspension bushings, tires, a chain and sprockets. First weeks budget is $100. And go....
Start with what needs the most attention.
