Just had bought a 2006 scrambler and I noticed the rear end was sloppy all over when I was greasing up the chain so I thought hey the bearings are bad. Well I replaced the bearings and seals this weekend and yea they were bad but I noticed the guy that did them before took a air grinder to try and smoothen it out( bad). I put it all back together greased it up as still had too much play in the rear. I took it for a quick ride in the yard and it pushed the right seal out ad the left side was starting to move out too. Would the axle be bad and/or is there supposed to be a clip or something holding the seals in place?
