So Far i have removed factory red graphics, replaced seat cover with new gripper cover, Added new Maier custom hood. Have had the front and rear bumpers powder coated black. I Built some custom heel guards and had them powdered black and removed the crappy black plastic ones that always break, (Fiance broke them first time out at dunes few weekends ago) I replaced both crank seals, did oil injection block off and got her jetted correctly. New air filter,(removed k&n the previous owner installed) Just removed all the TORS system, have the new carb cap and cable on its way to complete the removal.

Hers is current pics, Its dirty right now just took it out riding last night and have not had time to clean it up yet!

Welcome man. Study up on the leak-test and make sure you up your jetting for any mods you do. Better compression test too. Sounds like your on top of it though.
I like your heel guards, simple but effective

Already performed leak down test, found a pretty large leak between the intake boot flange and back side of the reed cage. I only replaced crank seals because already had the clutch cover off to do the oil injection block off and wanted to play it safe, and i had a flywheel puller from when i owned my previous blaster years ago so made the magneto side a cinch to replace.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

The intake boot is notorious for leaking, mainly because it gets over tightened and warps.

A smear of heat resistant Copper RTV, left to cure overnight should fix the problem.

Leak test to confirm!

Thanks Guys, I think i messed up having bumpers and heel guards powdered black though, they kinda stick out now. I think I'm gonna have to have my guy hit them with some silver so that they match the frame. Good thing it was free. lol
