Any one know where I can buy a rear swingarm extension kit? I've seen extended swing arms but I'm just looking for a cheap kit.

They pop up every now and again on E bay but i dont think they could handle much abuse if any. Last one i seen went for over $100.

i have only ever seen a picture of one that a guy was throwing away. he didnt figure it safe to sell anymore

they are only strong to a point.

what kind of mods/riding do you have/do?

They pop up alot, just was outbidded on one the other day and inline for another. Few companies currently sell them but are not cheap at all and after extending chain, new sprockets, cables, your starting to spend big bucks. Lots of respected members on here use them for trail riding and have no negative thoughts. No mods needed to run besides extended cable and chain and easy to remove if need be. On an expense and supply demand thought youd be better off getting an ebay extended swingarm which comes with new bearings installed and youd have it in a week rather than waiting for a kit to pop up only to save $80 or so. Also kits are 2" only known of one 4" which 79bronco has been using the past 9 years but with a swinger you have more length options.

Good points there blaster fun. I run a +3 swinger from eBay. Availability was a huge deciding factor

If your planning on bidding $100 or so, just save up a bit longer and get a new one in the length you want. You'll thank yourself in the long run

I run one on my sons Blaster with good results. I rode on it for over a year with no issues. I bought it used from a member on here. I looked for another for my current Blaster but could not find one. I bought a plus two from the swingarm shop on Ebay and happy with it.

Is yours from the swingarm shop?

9 out of 10 times when the ebay swinger is mentioned its the swingarm shop. They are budget freindly and have heard no complaints yet, id steer clear of homemade looking ones, theres a trenga with a rear hydro for $200 right now maybe look into that one

I'm running a +3 swingarm shop swingarm. They are made locally to me. Only thing I wish they would do is tig weld them. Other than that, it works great.

i have one of the extension kits on mine. been on for 2 years and ive put it through a lot at the track and at my riding spots. Cant complain no problems with it other then you have to loosen all the bolts to tighten your chain
