Does blaster mix oil with gas for me, or do I do that and put it in the gas tank?

So I got a blaster recently and was wondering if I have to mix my own gas and put it in the tank. I'm having people tell me that the little oil container thing under the left fender in the back of the blaster sends oil to the engine and from there mixes it with the gas to make the 2 cycle mix. And what some tell me is that it's just extra oil to the transmission to lubricate it. So the question is, so I put mixed gas in the tank, or regular gas. (I use unleaded)

Just regular gas in the tank, premium is best. For the oil tank under the fender, put in some high quality oil like Amsoil or something. I am sure other members will give you their opinion on oils. Also You may want to check if your oil pump does't work or is disabled just to be safe.
Welcome to the forum dude!!!

The oil you put into the tank must be suitable for oil injection.

It would pay to contact the previous owner as to what oil was used in the tank, some oils do not readily mix with others.

The oil to must be designed for air cooled motor cycles, not for weed eaters, chain saws or outboards.

Do you know of any way I can test to see if the pump works?

Firstly make sure that the exhaust is producing some smoke.

At idle, remove the oil injection feed from the nipple on the carb.

If the pump is operating some oil will ooze out of the pipe.

There should enough residual oil in the crankcase to idle for 20 - 30 seconds without the pipe attached.

Just check out the everything about blasters page on this site and read everything . Dont listen to locals unless they are blaster enthusiasts.
