98 blaster mx rebuild

Went to put on throttle cable today and I guess I have another problem with my order from ATV galaxy.....cable is to long, checked part number on streamlines website and sure enough the cable they sent is for a banshee

Well after kicking and pulling the bike....ditched the crappy caltric stator components and put stock electronics on that adjustable plate and it fired first kick! I will post up a few videos and pics when I'm completely done fine tunning.

Definitely post some cuz I've been thinking about picking up an 03+ needing a rebuild and throwing one of those ct 240 big bore kits on once I get a little more money. My only hesitation is that I haven't heard any personal stories from people with a ct 240 on how they like it and if they have any problems

Well today was good, got number plates on. Raised the front suspension and got my jetting issue resolved... ended up with 165 main needle second clip from top and a 45 pilot... ct sent 172 178 and 50 pilot lol

how did you do the clutch cover again?[/QUOTE]I bought the clutch cover already polished from the same guy that alot of us was bidding on the billet stator cover that i lost. To do one would take hours of sanding then put on a buffing wheel. There should be some polished covers still on ebay. All the other parts on the bike are powder coated chrome , chrome , and billet
