I hate setting floats with my calipers so I made a tool out of aluminum. It's cut to 16 mm and notched to fit around the metal bridge. Now I can set the float fast and make sure both floats are sitting in the same plane.float level tool

I hate setting floats with my calipers so I made a tool out of aluminum. It's cut to 16 mm and notched to fit around the metal bridge. Now I can set the float fast and make sure both floats are sitting in the same plane.
i used it to reset the floats on the rm250 ive been working on. worked great and a heck of a lot faster to adjust.
ive used the clear tube method as well, but this way, i dont have to install, uninstall the float bowl, adjust, reinstall, check and keep doing that till its right. this way i know and both floats can be adjusted to be level with each other.
