Need some input on my blaster

alright I took out the throttle cable and put the whole crab in a vice and tried popping it off....still didn't come off.


Sooooo whats the best performing aftermarket carb for my mods?...and what jets should I get for it. Im going to switch to a twist throttle too.
 
i use channel lock pliers to snug mine on and snug it off. try heating it up maybe someone put loctite on it ? liquid wrench or penetrating oil? also that tab on side stay still and just the cap un twists
 
im not sure try hold tab still with pliers ,then another set of pliers to twist cap off and or heat it up or spray something on it lol
 
Yeah id order a new flange also but fmf flanges dont come with the o-ring style seal..only ones I know of is the toomey and im guessing dmc alien cause there leak proof also.. fmf trinity ct all have sh*tty header to flange connections!! I never understood why they all dont make pipes so there nice and tight and not blow sh*t all over our bikes unless we seal them ourselves
 
Stock carb would be best for your mods.

the 28mm you talk of is from a small dirt bike i presume.

You would have to change jets majorly, but idk anything about that brand of carb. i have a 28mm mikuni.

maybe try to find a different stock or 28mm mikuni
 
I found a stock one with a tors eliminator kit and idle screw installed newly rebuilt. SO im going to get that. I let it sit in wd40 over night put it in a vice and it still didn't come apart lol
