    Switching over to hydraulic brakes

I put the spindles on, and they fit great. I'll put the brake lines on Friday.

    Switching over to hydraulic brakes

I called Alba racing and ordered 2 banshee ball joints last week. I put the spindles on and the steering stems were too long. Ran down to the machine shop and had them shaved, drilled, and tapped. I need to pick them up tomorrow see how they fit. The a-arms are +2.

    Switching over to hydraulic brakes

So if I pick up a 03-06 blaster carrier do I still need to worry about this?

    Switching over to hydraulic brakes

In going to aftermarket brake lines what work better, the two cables from the master cylinder to the rotors, or the one cable that t's up to two?

    Switching over to hydraulic brakes

So I traded some parts for a used warrior, 96ish, and I started switching spindles and stuff over. I have aftermarket alba a-arms and ordered new top ball joints. I saw a kit on eBay for converting the rear to hydraulic. What parts can I use from the warrior to help convert the rear.

Question on banshee carb on a blaster.

Yep, it was the crossover port. Several weeks back I put JB weld and a bolt in the hole to fill the gap. It looks awesome and seems to work great. Thanks for the reply guys.

Rebuilding the blaster and the FMF silencer won't fit on the stock exhaust.

It's all good. It could be bent. I figure if I picked up a stock silencer I could figure what's bent. I'll have to run over to the muffler shop to see if they can bend the muffler to fit. I almost bought a new exhaust system, but I am running down to Utah to pick up a Kymco Mongoose 300 for my...

Rebuilding the blaster and the FMF silencer won't fit on the stock exhaust.

When we bought the blaster about sixteen years ago, the previous owners jimmy rigged a banshee carb lid on the blaster carb. They used silicone to attach the two. While driving the carb lid came off, and revved the engine to the roof, ruining the connecting rod bearing. It wouldn't surprise me...

Rebuilding the blaster and the FMF silencer won't fit on the stock exhaust.

Buddy, you look at every picture of exhausts on the Internet, the silencer slides on to head pipe. Maybe I am having a hard time describing the issue. If you correlate the problem to sex, the head pipe isn't getting any action, because the end of the muffler can't slide on him. They can't reach.

Rebuilding the blaster and the FMF silencer won't fit on the stock exhaust.

I started a thread in the build forum talking more about this. You need to understand that I have the connector rubber boot, however the boot should not be the only piece that couples the silencer on to the head pipe. With the mounts loose, the silencer on the bike barely touches the head pipe...

    Rebuilding my kids blaster

LOL. That would be a long way to barrow a muffler. My parents lived in Gaylord for a couple of years. Lots of snow and deer.
