Be sure to remove and replace the resilent tipped needle if it has a groove. Also check float for gas leakage into the float chambers.

Do just exactly what I told the other guy , qtip and a very little toothpaste clean brass seat and check needle. If needle is grooved you must replace it. Set float height dead level with it upside down, do not put pressure on the rubber tipped needle, new or old. Reinstall carb check for air or gas leaks
