some nice looking fish, we consider any bass bigger than 16 inches a nice one from our lakes here in WI. One of these days I'll have to figure out how to post pics from my phone, got a couple nice smallmouth and some decent northern pics from last year on the phone

Welcome to the forum, if you'd be ok with the head lamp assembly being 2 separate pieces, I would be willing to sell you one for next to nothing.

Use a small battery, like a lawn tractor, or 4wheeler with electric start. Depending on voltage maybe you could use a rechargeable battery pack for a remote control car?
