  • Gotcha thats cools man. But yea, the back side of the piston skirt is missing lol. So im sure the pieces are down there somewhere. Like i said though the crank seems to be ok i just dont know. i would think if it was trash it wouldnt turn over so smooth or there would be some sign it was garbage but idk. I gotta find a machine shop now though, if im wanting to just have a quad to ride no racing or anythign extreme just goffin off, should i worry to much about anyhting else besides just borein it out a little and replacin the broken parts...
i'll have to check. if i do have 1 it's in the bottom of my parts box in the corner of my parts pile......
as for boring the cylinder, if you've got a 67mm piston, that means the cylinder is already bored to 0.040" over stock. 0.010" = .25mm. i think.
so that means you need to have the machine shop bore the cylinder to 0.050" over stock. or just tell them to bore it out 0.010" more than it is now and go buy a 0.050" piston kit.
why were you gonna split the cases? did your piston blow up?
