I had a tire fall off once, luckily I was barely moving, not sure what or how it happened, but obviously the cotter pin must have fallen out and the nut fell off and the tire went right passed me, pretty scary, I wouldn't ride without one unless you plan on driving 5 mph for 100 yards.

I don't see a reason for using a lefty throttle on any atv. Boondocking a sled is way easier than an atv.

Polaris is all my family rides until I jumped ship and bought a Doo, but we've been a Polaris and GM family forever with no problems.

First thing I checked was the oil, he said he had it changed before storage last year, it's full, and clean. I'll probably ride it the rest of the year and tear it down before next year to make sure every thing is good to go.
