I just cant stop thinking about WHY I couldn't do this myself..I continue asking myself did I do this, did I do that etc...So, before I break down and go to the shop...I AM going to try this again tomorrow afternoon..I believe the seal is in properly..Im just going to disassemble the clutch...

Awk, im pretty sure i got it in correct order. Theres a plate that has a single screw that sits over the top of the seal. I was told that I might need to loosen it a bit. Anyways, I think my beat bet is taking it to the shop so I dont mess it up anymore than it already is lol

My quad has been smoking something terrible. After my explanation of what it had been doing I was told it was the was the clutch side seal....was told it would be an easy job..WRONG lol...I pulled the old seal out, got the new one in (or so I think) an got everything put back together...added...

I will never do this again lol. I am not one to be doing work like this. I totally jacked my quad up. I pulled the old seal out, got the new one in (or so I think) an got everything put back together...added some fluid and decided I best check the kicker...NO PRESSURE...so I took the cover off...

Got it all ordered. Where can i get the items i need to connect the exhaust? The rubber boot and what not?

Oh I definitely want it to last. The stator side will be when the flywheel puller comes in play, right? I'll change them both. I don't need that stator side to sneak up on me considering you said its sneaky

I'm going to replace that seal, and get the exhaust fixed. I believe I'm going to only change clutch side beings that's the issue. Not the stator side.

tbrooks, I went out and started it up to check that smell just to be sure I told you the truth about it...after idling a few minutes I noticed it has a burn/gas smell...so maybe it isn't just a 2 stroke gas smell as I said

I don't even know where the window is located exactly. I looked over the whole casing and didn't see a window though. Which is why I assumed it was painted over. Is the Flywheel puller, and the clutch holding tool necessary to get those seals out/in?

So are there 2 crank seals? If so, should I just replace the both of them while Im at it anyway
