Many places will want the piston to get the exact measurement on the piston so you have the right piston to cylinder wall clearence. I'm a machinist myself actually. But yeah it's not hard to tell that the cylinder is plated or not lol. But yeah if you don't find a local place send it to...

You'll be fine. I just put mine together with .004" clearance. No problems yet, runs like a champ.

Did you check that it has spark? I would check spark, change plug, check valves to start.

The snow is too deep here for my Blaster to even go (24+ inches). It's almost too deep for snowmobiles. School has been closed all week so far.

I found an 86 on craigslist for $300, it needs bored out and he already has a new piston. He said it needs some other minor work too but for $300 I don't think I can really go wrong.

I got a set of the Ducks Unlimited Camo Handwarmers and only got to ride once to try them out. They were pretty good and look cool too. I bought them because they were out of heated grips, I still want to get heated grips though.

Is anyone running heated grips on their Blaster? I want to get the ones that slide under the grip but I'm not sure if the stock Blaster Stator will put out enough juice to power them. Especially when my headlight is on. Does anyone have heated grips on their blaster or think that a stock...
