    T.O.R.S.?

That actually seems a tad high... from what I understand 120's is around right for these machines, whereas it will run (maybe not well) right down into the 90's... I could be wrong....

    T.O.R.S.?

I'm not using much. Just a TINY blast into the carb. Also the compression is right at 110... checked it after I re-installed my jug and new gaskets. Just picked up a flywheel puller off eGay as well, so I can check the woodruff... I dunno. Any other ideas?

    T.O.R.S.?

Ok, so I've exhausted every method I know of troubleshooting. My 04 will only start if I use starting fluid, not at all without it. Once it's started, it runs fine, and has no problems. I've checked spark, replaced the plug, cleaned the carburetor, replaced the reeds, and even pulled the jug for...

    need a little help

The main jet is a 180? That's probably WAY too small... a stock jet is 230... I don't know how the Mikuni jetting is compared to a stock carb, but I'd bump that up for sure... it's something you'll have to play around with... get a good assortment of main jets, and do some plug chops until you...

    frame gaurds

Yup... like the wiring harness plastic loom stuff. That would probably work as well!

    frame gaurds

Exactly! Slit lengthwise and pop it on.

    frame gaurds

Well, as log as you get the right size tubing, being a little smaller in inside diameter than the frame tubes, and slit down the back, they should fit pretty tight... I'm going to do it this weekend, and I'll take pictures of what I'm talking about if I'm not being clear.

    frame gaurds

I was thinking about going to Home Depot, and picking up some 1 1/2"clear plastic tubing, and cutting it to length and slitting it down the back. Pop it on around the frame where it typically wears, and voila, you've got transparent rubber frame guards...
