damn that sucks it might be put up. what do you mean 34mm port job? have you tried towing it to start it? you check the reeds also?
well if your getting the other head ported go with that and get your bike ready for it. my buddies bike just did the same thing, we started it, it ran for a few seconds then shut off and wont start again. do you have spark still? Is that other jug your getting ported, is it getting bored also? was that the bad one?
check your plug. how did it shut off? bog down and cut out or rev real high and cut out? are you getting good fuel flow? When you cleaned the carb did you pull the jets out and clean them as well? Are your jets the right size?
