something that really erks me is how many people voted for Obama simply because he is black. they were trying to make a statement that America is over racism (which it isn't, at least not where i come from) or at least can overcome it, but in reality they were being racist themselves in choosing the next president b/c of race and not for what he stands for. ever hear about that reporter that went to some of the colored sections of cities in the south and asked the people if they thought it was a wise choice for Obama to pick Palin as his running mate. many of the people agreed and thought it was a good decision. :/ that and some of the things i have seen at my college campus shows me that most people didnt know the issues. i haven't really talked to many people in person that voted for him, everyone of my friends and the people i have run into and talked to about the election either voted for mccain or didn't vote at all. which begs the question, how did win Pennsylvania in the first place? i realize that i live in the country and dont' talk to people in cities, so this must be the answer.
