So I've searched the forums on plasics restoration and of course found a few results, but it seems that most of them were for black plastics or colored plastics. As some of you know, my blasty has white plastics. Any ideas on how to bring white ones back to life that have that backed on dirt look? I've cleaned her up as good as I can but can still see the brown spots and wouldn't mind getting her looking good again. If I can't, then Maier Front and rear race plastics it is!

Grab a kitchen sponge that is soft on one side and mild scrubber on the other side. Wet the plastics down well for each spot your working on. Then take the damp sponge (with a little Comet sprinkled directly on it), and start washing the plastic. You can use both sides of the sponge.

Comet has a little bleach in it, so it really makes the whites turn white again. Wear gloves when you do this because it will dry your hands out really bad. You will also want to put some sort of protectant on the plastic after you clean it. The Comet makes the plastic really white, but it also seems to strip the gloss off if you scrub too hard.

I saw something on FB recently I might try. Combination of Dawn dish soap and hydrogen peroxide, think that was all. I will try it with out using abrasive scrubber. I have some ubber strong peroxide ,,,,,,30%.

Have to wait until it's warmer weather.

So I've a really found a solution that I tried that works pretty darn good. Think I even posted a how-to on here somewhere lol. All you need is some comet and a scotch brite pad. Works like a charm
