Tether switch questions

So I'm trying to get my blasty set up for an nd type build. I'e already removed the headlight and tail light and the the switch box. I want to completely do away with the wiring for all of those as well as do away with the bulky factory on/off switch and replace it with a tether kill. Anyone want to walk me through removal of the favtory killswitch and wiring up the tether kill in its place? Probably going to pick up a Pro Armor tether kill. I've also seen somewhere something about these sweet mounting brackets for tethers? What tethers making to them??? Thanks guys

Have a look. Got my wire harness from them as I did the same. removed all lights and other crap.

Yeah but do I need a NO or NC? I've heard alot of people run the Pro Armor one, best bang for the buck. Ton of positive reviews for it as well

Was cheap $35. Easy as. I just replaced the complete hardness. length was perfect, Plugged it in and away it went.

Well shoot mine will be 25 bucks cause I have an 02 lol. I'll end up being that guy that hooks the wrong stuff up to the wrong things

LOL you cannot hook it up wrong unless you cut the plugs off and join the wires.

Lol yeah none of the plugs anywhere on my stock harness and what they connect to are chopped. Everything is still in tact and in pretty decent shape. Dirty and aged, but pretty decent. Haven't really stripped the casing off of it yet to really check it though

A harness is a harness. Pretty straight forward on how to widdle your down to whatever you want. Take the harness out, grab a diagram, and start cutting. Again save your money being spent on a harness and put it elsewhere. Does absolutely nothing to order a new harness other than a hole in your pocket that could be spent on suspension and go fast parts.

Already made the jump on a drag harness. I' rather nice new wiring and connectors anyway than my old one with worn connectors lol. I don't mind spending money. I'll make more if it lol it isn' running away from me

Lol if you think about it it is a kill switch. You pull the tether it kills the bike

With the tether clip in place contacts should be open.

Lol if you think about it it is a kill switch. You pull the tether it kills the bike

It will become loose why would i wanna pull it out everytime i wanna shut my bike off i know you can use it as a kill switch but i think thats stupid i like to have both

On my blaster I had a kill buttom and the kill tether wired up.
