So i have been saving some money and want to mod my engine not to big just a little more power! I have been looking for a vito +3 crank and a weisco piston/bore kit! Just wondering what else besids jetting and a new pipe what else some suggestions are! Also what do i need to do if i want to bore out my engine and do i need to change anything if i put a new crank in! Thank you
 
if there is nothing wrong with the engine now i would say just do a head mod. if you are changing out the crank then you should consider doing the main bearings and seals at the same time. for the rebore take the cylinder to a good machine shop or send it to kenoconnor or flotek for porting and rebore.

If I adjust my stator will it give me more power.. I hear some people go +4 ... Can some tell me what I can adjust mine to ....
 
if it is an all stock motor you could go +3 on it and get a little more out of it but if you have a modified head i would be hesitant to unless your running some kind of racegas. what mods do you have already?

If you are looking for just a little bit more power, than an aftermarket pipe and silencer along with a Uni filter will wake it up quite a bit.
 
Well the engine was done three times. I have a k&n filter , Boyesen Pro-Series reeds stock cage , I think its a .40 jet its not stock, I have a ricky stator and rick's hot shot cdi box and coil , fmf sst pipes , 14 tooth spoket front 40 rear and I want to put an E3 spark plug cause they work great I think that alone is going give my more power...I don't want the max I can get ,i want it to work normal. So if +3 is the most I can go I 'll go +2 just so I don't have an issues...

ive never heard of a +2 crank... ur best bet is the vitos +3, thats what i use and its worked great so far. no matter what stroker crank you deside on, to mamimize the power output you need to get your ports adjusted for the extra stroke.

How is it jacking , the tread is asking about how to get more power from the engine and I'm asking how to get more power from the engine...No one wants to jack anything for yous.. ENGINE WORK? STATOR IS ON THE ENGINE>....I got you guys mixed up because he is talking about a +3 crank and im asking about a +3 on the stator

its jacking because this is somebody elses thread they are asking about something toatly differnt then what you are talking about make your own thread about your timing instead of trying to take someone elses its not very hard

My suggestion is you can adjust your stator a few degrees.I can't tell you how many cause I don't but I'm trying to find out myself.Maybe someone can tell you so we both know.If you don't have adjustable stator you can get the plate for about $75.....If you don't know dont the answer don't say anything..... I guess its +3 or +4.. I dont know how much more power it will give you but it should do something.

+3 or +4 is the norm on the timing advance, also you dont need a adjustable plate you can mod ur stock one for free.
