where can i find a 03 blaster complet engine rebuild kit includin the guts in the trany and after market parts:-/

try ebay but ur not gonna be able to man,you have to buy them seprate...they dont sell it like that (atleast ive never seen it)

you have to piece it all together

topend-piston/rings
bottom end-crank,bearings,seals,all trans internals
full gasket kit

and thats a FULL rebuild..im sure ur engine doesnt need every single part, most are reusable.

Just buy a motor with bad to end would be your best bet. Getting all the little parts together that you will need will end up costing you a small fortune.

The motors are all the same for all years.

Oh by the way welcome to the forum also bro. Everything you need to know about your Blaster is right here.

I have a trany if you need one. PM me. On another note, a kit is a great idea! Let me see what I can put together with Wiseco. There's a bunch of guys on Ebay selling parts. I see top end kits but no full kits. Lets slash some prices!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the welcome and for your help the only reason that i wanted to know if there was a whole kit because my blaster has a knock in the bottom end and i was told the bottom needs to be rebuilt i have had dirtbikes 2 stroke i know how to rebuilt the top end and tune a 2 stroke i just have no experince with a quad 2 stroke

is the whole bottom end together and complete....if so all u will need is crank bearings and a bottom end seal kit.......check the crank by seeing if there is any "up and down" play in the connecting rod...if there is u need a new crank....dont waste ur time trying to find someone to rebuild ur crank a good used crank can be found cheap.......u will have side to side play in the crank rod but it should be very minamal...and another way to check ur crank bearings without splitting the cases is to try and wiggle the flywheel.....if it moves up and down or left or right the tiniest bit u have bad bearings

the crank bearings seem fine but when i turned it by hand i could hear something tappin on the in side i think its the rod bearing if it is do i have to change the crankshaft to and the conectin rod

no it craps out the crank.........and u will need to get another or have that one rebuilt......but thats not worth it when u can find em real cheap

u could get a +3mm crank.....its a hot item these days lol............and will get ya a nasty little blaster........but for all out gains u would need to have it ported to match the longer stroke

do what i did wiesco crank kit (comes with everything you need including gaskets) if you want to freshen the top end you can buy the wisco piston kit (comes with piston rings and all gaskets) but I didn't go with the wiseco top end kit ,I pieced mine together with pro-x piston and factory gaskets.. I got the crank kit and pro-x piston for $232 by asking my local guy if he could please help me out he did cost +$10

try it out sometime

keep it simple, its cheaper and probably alot more reliable.

also you should not need any transmission parts besides maybe clutch friction plates

if you were close to georgia I would take $525 and your engine and brakes for my engine and brakes, I havent even put the top end together yet but everthing is new and done properlyI:I

thats funny because i used to live in georgia my dad and mom live there and i vist 4 times a year and i bring my quad how far are you from hinesville or savannaha:D

I used to do contract work at Fort Stewart (Hinesville) and it took me about 4 hrs to get there...I live about 30 north of atlanta on 75 north.. bargin type ehh 8-| just trying to get some good stoppers and don't mind rebuilding, in fact some say I like rebuilding as much or more than riding..

so far I have totally rebuilt an rm125, cr85 bigwheel, kdx200, and this blaster engine is on the bench now that is the 2 stroke rebuilds won't mention weed wackers and lawnboys

4 strokes include a honda xl350r, 1973 xl175, xt350, 1970 mini trail 50, 5.0 ford and 200sx z20?? (all full rebuilds)xt600 to tt engine conversion,
xt250 (back from the grave dirt chopper rat project), trx 250x top end (cam chain destruction) drz400 top end

thats about it for engine work the rest of my experience is little things like revalve forks and shocks, rewiring hacked harnesses, tuning/ jetting all the above + nieghbors rides.....may be new here but I have been around the block a few times
