Oil Injection system

I opened up the cover to see the oil injector and saw that someone just plugged the lines up with screws. Will that work ok without messing it up?:">

well a block off kits id the best trust me cause if air come in you are screwd

i would remove it and put on a blockoff kit.... its not worth the chance.

Why?

It's nothing but a worm drive pump. The shaft that goes throught to the gear is sealed. You can fill that case with water and it will do nothing but weigh a little more. Once the pump is removed it's just a little nub turning in there.

True question, not flaming. I don't see any diff. between a block off plate and leaving the drive mech. in. Hell you can even take the gear off if you want.

you dont necessarily have to use a blockoff plate i guess.... thats just how i have always done it.
just my preference.

if you dont want to use a block-of kit make sure the gear thats drive the pump is remove so thats way you will be certain thats no air is suck true the engine

I blew up a blaster cuz of no blockoff..........

but I pulled it all the way out " pump plastic gear the whole shabang" and forgot to do anything. "many moon ago"
