Ok well I still haven't gotten it started since the last time it died on me which we thought just just a fouled plug... But I put a new plug in and it ran for about 2 seconds then died. Also took the headlight off so is something electrically wrong? When it officially died with the old plug it kinda sputtered/died slowly when I turned it off

I would check for spark , Look into the carb boot at reeds to see if there intact and closed , And then Leak down test and go from there ! .

The boot looks fine. Do you think I could've burned up my piston rings?

Does it seem to have Compression when you push on the kick starter ? . Take the carb off and look into the reed cage , you can pull the Exhaust head pipe off to look at the piston and Cylinder walls .

I wouldn't know how to tell by looking thru the reed cage or exhaust. It's the first 2 stroke I've ever owned so I'm not sure what its supposed to feel like. But compared to my crf250r it seems like it has nothing
