Default installing a tether kill switch

My son is starting to race and we have bought a 98 blaster and need to have a tether kill switch on it. Can anyone advise me on how / where to wire it in to the system. Also can I eliminate the key at the same time? I would like to get rid of it before we lose it.

the key has to be a open circuit so you unplug it or cut it and do not connect the wires..the tether i think goes into the key wires but not sure

There is a set of wires that come from the ON/OFF switch on the left hand side of the handle bar.... follow the wires to your hood... then there will be a BLACK wire and a BLACK WIRE WITH A WHITE STRIPE on it... just connect one of the "kill switch's"wire's on one of the two and the other wire on the other wire of the bike. NB Remember that the wires should not be cut off from the bikes ON/OFF sitch they should just be joined in there.... LOL hope you understand what I am trying to say here ill post a drawing for you in a few min.
